A day of indulgence and elegance around the Constantia wine route will be a perfect opportunity to indulge with High Tea daily served at The Cellars-Hohenort.

The Conservatory:

Guests may choose from three special locations – the main dining section, ; the ‘breakfast room’; and the terrace overlooking the garden.

Together with Head Chef Paul Nash, Executive Chef Peter Tempelhoff has created a classic menu with a focus on firm favourites.

From Cape Malay rubbed line fish, Mushroom & lentil bobotie to Springbok on the braai, the menu has something for everyone, with the head chef adding a special dish such as her signature Boland Cheese Soufflé with Cheesy Gin Sauce.

The Greenhouse:

Greenhouse is a place where local ingredients come together in an innovative ‘Experience’ tasting menu series that takes guests on a truly unique culinary journey.

Renowned Executive Chef Peter Tempelhoff and rising star, Head Chef Ashley Moss, look long and hard at what our guests eat, and where it comes from.

Martini bar and lounge:

The Martini Bar is an elegant space suited for both high tea occasions and sophisticated evening drinks.

The Martini Bar’s bartenders will mix the venue’s namesake, the chic cocktail, to perfection for even the most discerning of guests.

Here, guests can enjoy the elegance of an indulgent high tea or choose from a range of single origin coffees. Signature cocktails, an impeccable selection of wines from the Constantia Valley and champagne by the glass are also available.

Greenhouse bar:

Greenhouse Bar is the perfect place for guests to enjoy a refreshing glass of champagne, or our signature Hibiscus & Fynbos Cosmopolitan.

Greenhouse Bar also provides a tranquil hideaway throughout the afternoon, for guests to enjoy a quiet afternoon tea or relax with a good book.

The Bar menu features a wide range of cocktails, local and international wines and champagne, craft beer, cider, and spirits. Exclusive to The Cellars-Hohenort is our new natural wine list, introduced by Group Sommelier Michelle Michaels.

Served in either of these beautiful locations, The Conservatory and surrounded by one of the most beautiful private gardens you’ll ever see and afternoon tea is offered between 11:00 – 17:00 while on Sunday only between 15:00 – 17:00.
