SPAR Women’s Virtual Challenge

This year, all entries will be done online, anytime from now onwards to enter yourself, your friends and your family. There are 75 000 entry packs available for the SPAR Women’s Virtual Challenge nationwide. This means that twice as many people can participate in this year’s virtual challenge and it will be even more fun! Join us on Saturday, the 4th of September 2021, and walk your own chosen distance in your neighbourhood anytime between 06h00 and 18h00. T-shirt sizes are allocated to specific regions and managed according to availability. Our suggestion? Artichoke Festival

feAyama Slent Farms, Paarl 5 & 6, 12 & 13 Sept Your Ayama-Artichoke day is planned to be a “Special Edition Festival” limited to 50 people per day. This year’s festival is equipped to be COVID safe, by practicing distancing with due precautions, while still being able to have all the fun, a relaxing time, while still munching away on amazing food and sipping on great wines which are usually offered from this beautiful corner of paradise which is Ayama. The full menu consists of 4 artichoke-based courses, plus dessert, prepared by Pesce Azzurro, the farms’ partnered restaurant for this festival’s 2020 edition. All wines are available for on-site consumption, and Ayamateca will be open to satisfy all your cravings for goodies to take home. It will be all-Italian music, hiking and a farm tour included! Price R450 per person, children up to 6 yrs will be on the house and those between the ages of 7-12 yrs, who will pay a small fee of R200.
