  • The Galileo Open Air Cinema

A whole new set of experiences are offered to comply with needed safety protocols. This summer season will be a mix of event types. Picnic under the stars, drive in screenings that picked up during different lockdown levels and the whole new Royale Experiences that adds a full dinner option in some extra ordinary Cape Town venues.   This change brings a variety of opening times to let all enjoy the different venues and indulge a little longer.   4 Nov    Wednesday        Grease            ROYALE                Suikerbossie (Hout Bay)                               18:00     19:45 5 Nov    Thursday            La La Land    PICNIC                   Kirstenbosch Gardens (Newlands)            18:00     19:45 6 Nov    Friday                 The Lion King (2019)   DRIVE-IN   The Cape Academy (Constantia)         18:30    19:45 7 Nov    Saturday            The Notebook      PICNIC     Warwick Wine Estate (Stellenbosch)                  17:00     19:45 8 Nov    Sunday              50 First Dates       PICNIC    Kirstenbosch Gardens (Newlands)                     18:00     19:45 11 Nov  Wednesday       Bohemian Rhapsody    ROYALE    Casa Labia (Muizenberg)                           18:00     20:00 12 Nov  Thursday          Into The Wild        PICNIC  Kirstenbosch Gardens (Newlands)                      18:00     20:00 13 Nov  Friday                Beauty And The Beast (2017)         DRIVE-IN   Vredenhof Sports Field (Rondebosch) 18:30     20:00 14 Nov  Saturday           A Star Is Born       PICNIC  Lourensford Wine Estate (Somerset West)          17:00     20:00 15 Nov  Sunday              Under The Tuscan Sun     PICNIC  Kirstenbosch Gardens (Newlands)   ...
