Clifton Fire Jam
These Community Fire Jams usually happen once a month on Clifton 2nd Beach. The exact date is only decided the week or two before. FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY: - Please wear a mask - Please practice social distancing when choosing where to sit. LEAVE GAPS. - Please avoid sharing drinks/smokes and toys: bring your own FIRE DANCERS: - Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join - No Fuel No Fun - please BYOF! - Please be conscious of the beach - use spray off buckets and spill trays - Stay safe: check yourself before you wreck yourself - Wearing a mask while spinning will protect YOU from your own FUMES MUSICIANS: - All acoustic instruments are definitely invited - No sound systems please - A chance to create your own musical jam session! - QUIET TIME: 22:00 SPECTATORS: - For your your own safety, please respect the EDGES of the FIRE DANCING CIRCLE. Please understand that we may ask you to move back/sit down so that we can spin safely where everyone can see us. - PLEASE TAKE YOUR TRASH HOME WITH YOU!!! The bins are NOT big enough, please take your trash bags ALL THE WAY home with you. - Please use bags or jars for your candles - NO fireworks, bonfires or Chinese lanterns. - Drinking alcohol and smoking cannabis in a public area is illegal (but we're not the cops).
