Art and culture lovers are in for a triple treat if visiting Cape Town during February 2019.

In addition to the FIRST THURSDAYS open gallery nights on 7 Feb that offers a total of 55 exhibition openings and specially curated events around city center and East city, you are in for a treat with the Cape Town Art Fair’s Gallery Night on 15 Feb and the Museum Night Cape Town 2019 on 21 Feb.

Part of the annual Cape Town Art Fair, the Gallery Night takes place on the opening evening. It is an opportunity for Art Fair visitors to conduct a whirlwind discovery of the art scene of one of the world’s most artistically diverse cities.

GALLERY NIGHT provides fairgoers with a full view of the landscape of Cape Town’s visual art scene. Jump on a City Sightseeing Double Decker bus from the CTICC and enjoy an evening of chauffeured gallery hopping through the CBD and Woodstock. Buses are free of charge to all ICTAF ticket holders.

Time: 18:00 – 21:00

The busses will travel in 20 minute intervals. A total of 16 different galleries takes part in this event.

MUSEUM NIGHT is a multi-institution after hours cultural experience. For one night, the public is invited to explore their city’s museums and cultural institutions after-hours and free of charge. No tickets are required.
