Six years in the making, Skinny laMinx is a well established home décor brand among South Africans.
From the beautiful beginning of fabric design, owner and designer Heather Moore developed her brand to offer a big array of goods made out of the basic material and embedded Cape Towns’ good weather and atmosphere in every item.

Graphic patterns in calm pastels and washed shades are printed on high quality fabrics and are then sewn into pillow covers, aprons for adults and kids, storage and small travel utensils, tableware, lampshades and stationary covers. Sizes are as universal and as common as possible to suit every country of origin and every destination a shopper wishes to take it to. Everything is made in the studio and workshop above the store on trendy Bree Street.
On the shelves you’ll also find items from fellow designers – a ceramic artist that complements Skinny laMinx ‘geometric patterns, a china set that inspired some of the creations in store, calendars and imported little girls’ dresses among others.

While products can be shopped for online, those who seek extra guidance and advice should step into the store and get help from one of their friendly staff members. A large collection of postcards that functions as a look book is available for you to create and match patterns to your own unique style and with almost every item coming in a variety of sizes, options become endless.

South Africans are welcome to enjoy Heather’s skillful eye and knowledge with the new addition of interior design service.
