Cape Town plays host to several brilliant local markets for the whole family to enjoy year- round. Hello Cape Town compiled a list of local markets we believe to be fantastic places to allow for great gatherings for all:
BAY HARBOUR – THE MARKET OF HOUT BAY
The Bay Harbour Market is truly a place where the creative energy and the vibrancy of South Africa comes alive! Situated in an old authentic fish factory in a working harbour, an eclectic stylish wonderland of exquisite art, craft and fashion awaits all visitors. Not to mention the delicious aromas of food to tempt all the sense.
The Bay Harbour KWV Sound Stage is one of Cape Town’s most popular platform for the country’s most exciting musical talents to showcase their abilities. From jiving jazz to awesome acoustic performances, the market comes alive every weekend with varied sounds from across the country.

MOJO MARKET – SEA POINT
Open 7 days a week and occupying an entire block on Sea Point’s main street, the market includes a large array of food vendors with flavors from all over the world. The market is open for sitting from 7.00- 21.00 and offers uninterrupted views of the beach front.
Small boutiques are laid across the market and offers art, crafts and fashion, all made locally by small producers.

Features over a 100 specialty traders every Saturday. It is as much a source for locally produced farm fresh organic goods as it is a meeting point to enjoy like-minded communities, swap ideas, and stories, and become educated about what we buy and eat by going directly to the source.
The Neighbourgoods Market has been created along ethical, eco-friendly and organic lines to offer a wide range of products from the extended community of Cape Town. A calendar of seasonal events, specialty festivals and live music feature throughout the year.

THE ORANJEZICH CITY FARM MARKET
Held every Saturday at the historic Granger Bay site of the V&A waterfront, the OZCF market day is a fresh and friendly farmers-style market for any independent local farmers and artisanal food producers. Customers can do their weekly food shopping (veg, fruit, bread, organic dairy, free-range eggs, honey, muesli etc) and encouraged to try out some of the delicious cooked and raw foods of offer. The OZCF ignites the inspiration about helping to build an alternative food system.
Market Day is located at Granger Bay, V& A Waterfront (next to The Lookout)
