THOSE THREE LITTLE WORDS
It’s. Valentines. Day.
And we are so lucky to celebrate it in the southern hemisphere because it doesn’t matter if you are a Capetonian or if you are visiting, you get to have your full day of work or sightseeing and concluded with a toast to one more glorious day in your life.
City Sightseeing Sunset Bus – Your carriage awaits
Signal Hill dominates the list of Cape Town’s favourite spots to watch the sunset while enjoying your picnic basket, so popular that traffic in and out is a mission.
City Sightseeing Sunset Bus departs daily at 17:30 from Stop 1 at the V&A Waterfront (opposite the Aquarium) and returns approximately three hours later.
This tour takes you on an evening drive showing off the best views the Atlantic Seaboard has to offer at sunset. The trip ends at the top of Signal Hill where guests are encouraged to pack a picnic and blanket to enjoy watching the sun as it disappears behind the Atlantic in a storm of vibrant colours.
As darkness falls, the bus will take you back to the V&A Waterfront via the city as Cape Town shows off her night lights.
Replace the common box of chocolates with a surprising local twist. You can choose between:
- A DIY crumbs kit that include 4 ice cream flavours, a selection of cookies, toppings and all the necessary accessories to have the full experience at your chosen location.
- An ice cream sandwich cake. Single, double or triple layered and full of sweetness.
- A box of super mini sandwiches. Miniatures of their best combinations in a perfect two bites size to share with your valentine.
